Ryan has joined the cast of a new film called Trophy Kids which is being shot in New York City these days.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter Josh Sugarman will be directing the Generation Y narrative film Trophy Kids.

This film is Sugarman’s feature length debut.

Ryan Eggold (90210) will play a man with a sense of righteousness. He and a friend (David Gallagher; 7th Heaven) are writing a screenplay together. Both of these men are in love with a character played by Tahyna Tozzi (X-Men Origins: Wolverine).

The movie, whose title refers to kids that come from privilege, is currently shooting in New York.

Ryan and his co-star Kellan Lutz have been named as two of Sexy & Single Men of ‘09 by People Magazine.

Just how close are 90210’s Eggold and Twilight’s Lutz? The two 24-year-old stars joke about everything – including meeting on the online dating site, Match.com. “He had a great profile,” says Lutz, while Eggold jokes, “We had similar interests. Tennis. Badminton. We set up a man date.” The truth about their bromance? “We met through friends and then worked together on 90210,” Eggold finally admits.
